6 Women’s Beauty Products Men Secretly Love

Day by day you start noticing that your beauty products have been being used more than usual. You look at your beauty routine and realize that your products should last you longer than two weeks. So why are they finished beforehand? Your boyfriend is using them too. The beauty products he is using are your body washes, moisturizers, shampoos, and chap sticks. You can do one of two things: curse them out or just buy more of the product so both of you can use them. Here are 6 women’s beauty products men secretly love and use behind your back. 1. Dove Winter Care Body Wash – the extra thickness of the lather is what makes both women and men love this product. It also adds extra moisture to your skin which is good for those dry, cold seasons. You will notice that this body wash will be the first one to go in the shower even if you have an Axe body wash for him. 2. Eyebrow Brush – We have all seen those wacked out eyebrows that men seem to neglect when they go out. Now they are using your eyebrow brushes to tame their brows. Why? It is the closest thing to a makeup tool that is not like using makeup. Get two eyebrow brushes, one for your delicate brows, and one for his bushy rough ones. 3. Venus Razors – The main reason why men love female razors over male razors is the sensitivity the female razors have. Plus they glide over the skin surface easier. The handle fits nicer in their hand and the razors are cheaper. 4. SimpleSkinCare 24HR Day/Night Cream – It is fragrance free which is why men love using it. It also makes any cracked up face look fresh and new within seconds. It is also great for dry hands too, hence why your construction worker boyfriend will be hogging up the cream for his dry worker hands. 5. Yes to Carrots Scalp Relief Shampoo and Conditioner – When it comes to shampoo for men, they are all generic. Just one try of Yes to Carrots Shampoo and you both will be sharing the shampoo forever. IT has tea tree oil and lemon that reduce irritation and salicylic acid that helps with flaking. Plus it will leave their hair so smooth that they will love your fingers running through it. 6. Burt’s Bees Lip Balm – Men love it because the packaging is yellow and has a man in a bee hat on the front. Yeah right. They love it because the scent is neutral and the balm keeps their...

It should reduce the swelling. You can also use cold black tea bags or cucumber slices from a co-worker’s salad. Fingernail Tips To Live By (I Literally Nailed This One!)

Fingernails are like humans. They come in many different shapes and styles. Some are round, curved, or square. Some are claw like and even fake. There are many people out there that spend so much money on manicures that it is ridiculous. Of course, I would not be saying that if my job was a manicurist. Just like there are rules you should follow in life, beauty, and at work; there are rules that you should follow in the nail world. One: Don’t speak about Nail World. Two: Speak and you will get nailed. Oh, snap! Here are some tips to keep your finger nails looking immaculate. Your nail’s best friend is a four-sided nail filer. You can buff, shine, file, and exfoliate with one tool. You save money. Soak them in water with a teaspoon of vinegar to soften the nail and get rid of any dead skin cells. Only for five minutes. Invest in a hand scrub. The best is from Bath & Body Works. It is called, Just A Minute. All you need to do is rub in the sugar scrub on any of the rough parts of your hands including the cuticles for 60 seconds. Rinse and you will have amazing soft, smooth hands. The smell is to die for. It smells like sweet citrus. Keep them away from your mouth. Stop biting them. A good way to stop that habit is to dip your hands in tabasco sauce every time you feel like biting them. Trust me you will not get the urge to bite your nails anymore. Moisturize daily with Shea butter to keep them from getting brittle and cracking. The Shea butter locks moisture in the nails and cuticles to keep them stronger. Do not use your nails as if they were tools. They are there to protect your fingers. Keep them short. Acetone is not a friend you want to have around your nails. Constant use of acetone can dry your nails and damage them. Also keep them away from acidic cleaners like citrus dish detergent. No that does not mean you do not have to wash the dishes. No mam. That is why gloves were invented. Do not buy cheap nail polish. Why? If it starts to chip away you are more likely to paint them again. Do you know what happens when you use too much nail polish on your nails? You get a crack right down the middle. Polish dries the nail up if you keep on painting them different colors every day. Put a coat of nail hardener the day before you paint your nails for added...

Goodbye Rapunzel: Going Short For 2015

Long hair is what makes a girl beautiful. Well you know what? That is so 2014. Short hair is making a comeback and in a good way. I am not telling you to go cut off your long locks. I am just telling you that if you do not then I will. Just kidding, or am I? Celebrities who had long hair have chopped it off and look so beautiful. For example, Jennifer Lawrence made her debut on the red carpet with her short blond hair. One would think she lost her luscious long hair in a Hunger Game fight. Anyway, some girls do not like going short when it comes to hair because they feel like there are not many ways to style it. Get out of your hermit shell and learn something. (First decide what cut is best for your face.) Here are some hair styles that will surely beautify your short hair. Curled Out Bob: All you have to do for this one is part your hair down the middle and curl loose locks because if you curl too tight it will make your hair look shorter. Just look at Beyoncé’s new hairdo. Do that, and you will be flawless. At least your hair will be. No bangs please. Oh, and if you have a square face then this do is a don’t. Short Blonde Pixie Cut: First off this will look great on someone with light skin complexion. Also do not behave like one of those amateur models from Tyra Banks’ show and cry when they cut it real short. What makes this one really nice? It gives you street cred and you get to accessorize with headbands without looking like a schoolgirl. Pixie Cut: Hallie Berry is known for this look but it seems like a lot of female celebs have caught on how well it makes you look. The best way to beautify a pixie cut is with some hair gel and spikes of hair going in different directions. Jennifer Hudson is commanding presence with her new short hair. Asymmetrical Cut: Go for the side swoop asymmetrical bang. Make sure you style the hair to the side of your face that looks worse. Showoff the good sides of you face just like Michelle Williams. Straight-Edge Cut: Beautify it by just leaving it alone. The straight-edge is style enough. You can always spray it with shine mist. Options: Use colorful clips to give you short hair some pizazz. Take strands of hair from opposite ends and make a twist braid. You can also just use a hair tie to add some flare. Try some...

5 At-Home Hair Remedies For Your Messed Up Hair

Hair treatments at a salon can cost you a mortgage, car, dinner for a week, and a lollipop. It is the day of do it yourself or as I like to called it The D.I.Y. Movement. You can easily take care of your messed up hair right at home. I know some of you would just like to put a beanie hat on and go on like your hair is all put together. Well, do not get in front of me because I will snatch it right off. Others of you will just say, “It ain’t nothing but a hair flip,” and walk right into the nearest salon. I would say to that, “Good for you.” For those of us who cannot afford to pay the gas bill this month…read below. Here are some easy hair remedies you can make in the comfort of your own home. Banana For One: All you need is one banana. Smash it up and smear it on your hair. You want to start at the roots and make your way down each strand of hair. Leave it in for fifteen minutes. Rinse it out with lukewarm water. Voila! You should have silky smooth hair and no more dry, damaged hair. If you do not, then you ate the banana. Do this every three days. Free Remedy: This remedy is so simple and free. It is a mixture of exercise and water. Blood flow is great in strengthening hair. Drinking plenty of water will help bring some shine to your dry, dull hair. Do this whenever the hell you want. Olive Oil Massage: Take five tablespoons of olive oil (extra virgin if it is your hair’s first time) (light if it is on a diet). Massage it into your scalp. Then apply it to your hair. Leave in for thirty minutes. Use the excess oil to moisturize your dry skin. After 30 minutes, rinse and dab dry. Why do this? It will keep your hair strong and prevent breakage. Do this once a week. Vitamin E Oil Wrap: No you do not eat this. You massage Vitamin E oil onto your scalp. Wrap it in a hot towel for thirty minutes. It will stimulate the scalp and increase blood flow which helps with hair growth. Plus leaving it in overnight will give a shine to your hair and reduce dandruff. Do this once a week. Cornstarch Shake: Again you do not drink this. You take a one tablespoon of cornstarch and put it into an empty salt shaker. Sprinkle it all over your hair. Make sure your hair is not wet. Wait ten minutes....
